Tajikistan: Seven Lakes in Fann Mountains

We drove from Panjakent out into the Fann Mountains to see the Seven Lakes - we only got to 6 lakes.  Our driver said the 7th was blocked off.  We suspected he was just being lazy.  But anyway, the lakes were beautiful and we were glad he had a big 4-wheel drive engine because the roads were borderline not roads and just rocky paths to get there.  The mountains and the lakes were stunning though.  The photos don't do it justice.
