Texas: Caracara flying

The caracaras although mean just look beautiful to me.  I love watching them fly in South Texas - they look a lot more exotic!

The Crested Caracara’s flight is one of the most distinctive sights in South Texas. Unlike the fast, acrobatic flight you might expect from a typical falcon, caracaras are more like soaring, cruising raptors — often gliding low over ranches, brush country, and open fields with slow, powerful wingbeats.
