London: Frankenstein's alive?

Frankenstein is alive and well... and living on the street on London's South Bank trying to greet those walking by.  It must be difficult for him to make a living, because who would want to hire a green-monster in their office?

London: Busker sitting in mid-air

Photos of another busker on South Bank are below.  In addition to painting himself golden, this busker is also sitting in an imaginary chair.  Any ideas how he does it?

London: Timeless in Chelsea

The next assignment on our photo-walk with Fox and Squirrel was to shoot something timeless, preferably in black and white.  The best shots that I got from this exercise is of the bicycle below as well as an old big tree in the depths of residential Chelsea.

London: Little Girl in Chelsea

I signed up to do a photo walk with Fox & Squirrel in Chelsea.  As part of the walk, we were given various assignments, with time to do the assignment before a critique.  My first assignment was to take photos of something green in Chelsea.  Below I took photos of a little girl wearing green, with a green bicycle.

London: Buskers at South Bank

Walking along South Bank, there are an overwhelming amount of buskers dressed up in odd costumes with random skits all to make a living.  They are there every day and its as if they feed off each other and make themselves more ridiculous than the busker standing next to them.  Below are some photos of the highlights.

Paris: Notre Dame Cathedral

The Cathedral of Notre Dame is the home of the infamous Hunchback, Quasimodo as well as just celebrating its 850 year anniversary this weekend!  Below are two photos of Notre Dame.  The top photo is from the Left Bank where some of the vendors along the Seine are setup.  The bottom photo is taken from the top of Monde Arabe, which had great views of the city.

Paris: French Doors

Whenever I am in Paris, I continuously am impressed by the lovely-ness of the French doors and windows that are naturally across the city.  Below is another photo of a lovely door in Vincennes.

Paris: Before + After

Above are two photos.  The top photo is the "Before" shot, where a nice couple are feeding pigeons and a mallard.  The bottom photo is the "After" shot, where a wonderful young girl runs at the birds and they are scrambling to fly away quickly.

Paris: Mallards near the Seine

Surprisingly, there were many mallards hanging out by the Seine and up on the front next to the river.  Below are two shots of the mallards.  The top photo is of one walking straight at the camera.  The bottom shot the two mallards are looking out over the Seine.

London: Maltby Street

The Maltby Street market is just over a mile from Borough Market and despite having many of the stalls that exist at Borough Market, it is incredibly low-key and undiscovered.  There's a great ambiance underneath the overground rail tracks and without the crowds at Borough.  Below are some photos from the market.
