Boston: Head of the Charles

The Head of the Charles is the world's largest rowing event, held over two days in Boston on the Charles River, which is the river that separates Boston from Cambridge.  Below are photos from the small portion of the race that I watched.

Cape Cod: Oysterfest

On a Saturday in October in Wellfleet in Cape Cod, OysterFest is held annually for those willing to brace the crowds to browse through the stalls of beer and oysters.  They even sell an Oyster Stout!  Although I'm allergic to shellfish, I still enjoyed the atmosphere to see the whole town transformed for the occasion.

Cape Cod: Autumn in New England

New England is known for their autumn weather.  I was surprised to hear that foliage tourism is actually a thing that attracts tourists to come and see the orange leaves in New England in October.  Foliage Tourism... crazy!  I'm getting into the spirit and below are some photos of leaves in Cape Cod.

Cape Cod: Brewster Natural History Museum

Fall in Cape Cod.... the tourists are good and gone.  It's quiet, peaceful and relaxing.  Below are photos from one of the trails behind Brewster's Natural History Museum.  Both the museum and trails are a nice spot for a day out... highly recommended.
