Boston: Close-up with Geese

Photographing Geese is a delicate balance because you cannot get too close to a goose with her gosling, or she will put her head down and charge towards you.  Below are two photos as close as I was comfortable getting to a goose and her gosling.

Boston: Geese looking out at the Charles

During May along the Charles River, you will see many Geese with their gosling camped out as families.  Below are two photos of Geese-families looking out at the river.  Here the mother goose and her gosling are looking out at the father goose swimming back to them.

Boston: JFK Presidential Library

In the United States, presidential libraries are repositories for preserving and making available the papers, records, collections and other historical materials of every President of the United States since Herbert Hoover.  John F Kennedy's Presidential Library is located on the South Shore of Boston and contains many tracings of JFK's short but memorable presidency including relics from the Bay of Pigs invasion, his campaign against Nixon and many relics from the Cold War.  The museum has a lot of interesting content for any history or political buffs, and is definitely worth a visit.  Below are some photos from within the museum.
