Chicago: The Bean

In Millenium Park in downtown Chicago, the most popular attraction is "The Bean" - a shiny reflecting bean-shaped statue that gives off cool reflections and is crowded with tourists.  Below are some photos of The Bean as the clouds passed by and the sun tries to seep through.

Downtown Chicago on a business-day in the summer had a bit of a deserted feel.  Maybe no one wanted to leave their offices to come out and enjoy the sweltering heat.  But below are some photos from the area near the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago, with an old-time trolley in the foreground.

Chicago: From the Sears Tower

The famous Sears Tower of Chicago is now called the Willis Tower, and anyone with the price of admission can take an elevator to the 103rd floor to see the view from their "SkyDeck".
